Salute America's Heroes Mentioned on Good Morning America Today

The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes was mentioned in Good Morning America during a segment discussing two veterans who are swimming the Strait of Gibraltar to help raise money for wounded heroes.

Veterans David Broyles and Rush Vann have seen the horrors of war up close. Now, they are going to do something about it. They are preparing to make one of the world's most difficult swims: 12.5 miles in harsh conditions from the Spanish coast to Morocco. The swimmers say that the rough waters are a metaphor for the hardships wounded veterans face each day.

One of Salute America's Heroes' Soldier Spokesmen, J.R. Martinez, is interviewed in the segment.
